About ZenZ Voice

ZenZ Voice is a county- and district-centric platform where residents report local civic issues, see what neighbors are reporting, and hold local government accountable. The platform is operated by a U.S. entity and is independent of any political party, campaign, or government agency.

Privacy

We collect the minimum personal data needed to operate the service:

  • Mobile number — used only for SMS verification and account recovery. Stored encrypted; never shown publicly.
  • State, county and ZIP code — declared by you, optionally cross-checked against an approximate IP or GPS reading.
  • We never collect or store your Social Security Number, driver's license number, or any other government ID.
  • Operational metadata — IP address, browser, device fingerprint, captured per event for moderation and abuse-prevention. Held with restricted access.

Your name and mobile number are never displayed publicly. Reports are attributed to a pseudonym you can change.

We disclose user data only when legally compelled — under a valid court order, lawful subpoena, or warrant issued under the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), 18 U.S.C. §§ 2510–2523. Informal government requests are refused in writing.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others) have rights to access, correct, delete and port their data. To exercise any of these rights, contact the address below.

Terms of use

  • Report only first-hand, factual civic issues. Do not impersonate, threaten, or defame.
  • Do not upload obscene, sexually explicit, or graphically violent content.
  • Do not submit content protected by copyright that you do not own. We respond to DMCA notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512.
  • Reports that are resolved become read-only; comments freeze on resolution.
  • Moderators may hide, freeze, or remove content that violates these terms. A reasoned audit trail is kept.
