Heavy-trash pickup skipped two cycles in a row

The heavy-trash pickup has been skipped two cycles in a row in our neighborhood while regular garbage gets taken. Piles are out at the curb on the right day. Now they are spreading and blocking the sidewalk. Logged it with 311 and got a service-request number. Anyone else nearby seeing heavy trash skipped, or is it just our route?
