Severe rat problem around Avenue A and 7th St

The rat activity on this stretch of the East Village has gotten out of control over the summer. After dark the sidewalk near the trash set-out points is crawling with them, right next to several restaurants with outdoor dining sheds. This is a public-health issue, not just unpleasant. Requesting baiting and an inspection of the dining sheds where food waste is collecting underneath.
